This system is composed of a thickener to precipitate floating matters in the high treatment of salt water for use in the membrane electrolysis process, a ceramic filter for removal of fine particles, and an ion-exchange tower that eliminates Ca++ and Mg++ by means of chelate resin adsorbent.
